Our History
A few years ago, Steve and Duff met and began playing music together as members of the worship band at First Christian Church Sun City, Sun City, AZ. They enjoyed serving in the church, as well as bringing musical inspiration into the great community.
Over time, Steve became increasingly productive as a poet and writer of lyrics. He received inspiration during times of prayer, silence, reflection of Scripture, and in the night hours. It seems that the Holy Spirit was touching him and moving him to exercise this gift of expression in word-form.
Steve approached Duff on several occasions about the possibility of collaboration in creating songs where he would provide the words and Duff would create the music.
At the time, Duff was Worship Pastor at First Christian Church Sun City and also pastoring Foothills Community Church in Chandler, AZ. Life was pretty full and it didn't seems that there was time and space for more intentionally engaging in the creation of original music.
Steve encouraged Duff to "pray about it" and that is what they both did for quite some time. Steve continually sent lyrics and new poems that showed the inspirational creativity was flowing in his heart and mind.
One day, Duff felt a "nudge" to sit down at the piano and look through some of the song lyrics to see if anything started to flow creatively. Sure enough, before long, melody lines, harmonies, rhythms stated to emerge and a process of moving forward as co-writers was born!
Over months and years songs were written, arrange, and recorded. Today a gospel music duo, Seve & duff is releasing fresh new songs and doing some limited concert touring. All with the prayer that God will flow love, goodness, joy and peace through the music into the lives of folks who enjoy it!

Ed Anderson is a talented recording engineer and a superb musician! Thanks to Ed for helping in all aspects of arranging, recording, producing and mixing. Ed adds electric and acoustic guitars, drums and vocals on various parts of this production.
Dave Brinkman has a great heart that shines through beautifully in his musicianship! Dave added sweet violin and banjo sections on this project.
Larry Regan has long experience and a dept of talent that can be herd and appreciated in the inspiring harmonica playing he provides on some of these songs.
A Special Pastor
Pastor James Turner is an effective spiritual cheerleader who has prayed, encouraged and gently pushed the process of creation forward at each step! The value of a soul friend who is filled with God's love, grace, joy and peace is beyond description.
